babysling wantedDoes anyone have a babysling that I could buy - I have one but should wash it at some point so would be good to have a second one.

I am selling Mei-tais for £30 (or there abouts), I don't know if that is what you are looking for?

my mother in law made a spare sling out of some bedsheets now - I would be more interested in wraparounds - have a babybjoern, which I think is similar to the mei tais, but I can only use it from 66 cm.
If something is available closer I might still be interested.

I have one of those Southamerican long bits of cloth that are wrapped around yourself and baby and tied in a knot - no idea what they are called, they were all the rage in Germany a few years back, but I've been using it as a table cloth. You'd be welcome to that if it's any good!

That would be great Ina! - We are vaguely thinking of placing an order in November - so may see you then - I hope anyway

OK, I'll stick it in the next wash to get the coffee and wine stains out, and get it up to you somehow!

Well, I am kind of off at the moment so very happy to receive visitors !
If you have a good recipe against teastains let me know - still have to try some vinigar on a tablecloth of mine - would be a shame if I do not get rid of it.

I've just turned a charity shop curtain into 2 made-to-measure baby slings for the parents of a new baby. The cotton curtain was lined with cotton, so baby and washing machine friendly. I left the lining in place for a bit more warmth. Pair of curtains £3, so 2 slings from one curtain means 75p a sling, the site that had the pattern on it sells them from $43!
This is the pattern: http://www.mykarmababy.com/pages/BabySlingPattern.php
