I know it's bad form to reply to yourself but...
We found a nursery -Green's - which is on the road from Nairn to Grantown (A939).
They had small Rhodies & Azaleas in 10cm pots for £1.50 each. Similar offer for shrubs, perennials & alpines.
The plants look were tended & the staff were very friendly.
I know it's a way for most, but if you're on a day out West & looking for value plants, this nursery could be worth a visit.
OH has a lot of digging to do
