I had a sneaky preview and a try of this at Dale's house yesterday and it is amazing. Even a non artist like me could make a truly impressive picture, you should give it a go. The finished picture has depth and texture and all the colours blend beautifully.
One thing I did notice was how it absolutely eats the wax crayons so I think it's quite important that we bring our own crayons and Photo paper rather than leave her to foot the cost of the workshop - it's only fair, isn't it. If you have an old electric iron kicking about bring it with you or we'll all be making a queue for the same one.
Lisa and Alimum want to see how the drum carder works so I'm taking that along too. Dale said yesterday that if anyone wants to bring anything else along she thought it would be good as there would be more variety.

I bought some gorgeous cards a few years back from the Mossat shop - they were sea scenes with dolphins done in encaustic wax - wonder if you made them Dale?

I thought I had an old iron in the bottom of the wardrobe so I didn't buy a cheap value iron for £3.89 at Tescos last week.
I was wrong, I didn't have one so I picked one up this week. It had been reduced from the ridiulously cheap price it was to £1.10 - yes really, and I got a one year guarantee to boot.
I don't think I would have the brass neck to take it back under warranty at that price
Anyway, they are there, if anyone wants to get their own.
