This will be the first of a series of monthly meetings designed to raise awareness of environmental issues in the community usually held on the first Wednesday of the month. The format will be a talk or screening followed by refreshments and informal discussion.
This Wednesday there will be a showing of The Age of Stupid, the new four-year epic from McLibel director Franny Armstrong. Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?
