I brought this bowl back from my class this week, it's a coil pot I made at home and took in to glaze and fire. I wanted it to be earthy. The vase I made first, it was based on a thistle.

I got the effect by rubbing off glaze with a scourer and a breathing mask. The pattern was from old bracelets.
