im making more tinctures

can you buy 100/120 proof vodka in this country.
MJ

yep there's a few, smirnoff do 100%, so do absolut, but I'd check out a polish shop to see if they've got any thing cheaper.

oops, edited for spelling.
Smooth Hound

where from though
MJ

theres a couple of polish shops in Aberdeen, but been reminded, polish vodka is meant to be 40% or 80 proof, but have had smoother.

Don't drink vodka anymore, and don't live down your way any more either so not so good on naming shops. One of the cheapest on line is http://www.drinksdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Absolut_100.html

Does a ladle count as a spoon?

Can't say I've drunk vodka in a Looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnng time. Used to drink it from time to time when we were out, but a combination of drinking other drinks, and just not being out that often anymore has kinda stopped that

Rarely drink Vodka...unless there is nothing else haha
But it does make a great tinture...what are you making SH?
and do we need to buy you a cauldron?

no   im making fairly small quantities up, there will be alsorts of herbal stuff, st johns wort, nettle, yarrow, cumfrey, pepper, and some others i cant remember at this minute.

you wouldnt want a bucket of this, itll be very concentrated, its just a spoon of this or that here and there. not a fan of spirits as ive said before but im using this for a purpose.
