who else on the board is with Tiscali for BB ?
I ask because I noticed the last couple weeks a huge increase in our general line and dload speeds.

usualy get up to 2mb down max, just did this speedtest 2 mins ago:

so my upload speed is still cr*p, but who cares, all I ever upload is the odd piccy anyway. down speeds off decent servers are running at 800kb/s ! unheard of for us.
so if you're with tiscali , head on over to speedtest (linked above) and see what you're geting these days

(note: at peak times , ie 5 > 8/9 pm my speeds tend to be slower than that)

That is a great improvement for us.
We were told 1mb was our fastest because of distance from the exchange and it has always tested out at about 1mb before

yeah well last time I checked (a while back right enough) 2mb was the max on our line. clearly we're doing a bit better than that atm
