What kind of winter do you think we're in for?

Personally I'm hoping for at least one bout of good snow.

Well... I suggested October a while ago... and it did sort of snow in October but not as much as I was thinking of.

I think we'll get some snow this year though - must get a generator sorted asap.

Think it will be windy and wet. Some real cold temps occasionally but not a lot of snow HERE.

(Working on the assumption that if I'm pessimistic, things can only get better )

Winter ?? I'm still waiting for summer to happen

Do I just give up on summer and pray for nice crisp unmuddy snow for a while then lol

Some "proper" winter would be nice this year, if only to kill off some of the slug population. It was so mild last year that they all survived and it has been mayhem all summer with them.

I reckon it'll be really hot and there'll be droughts and everything, because I'm off to the shops in my car right now and at least six children will be indirectly killed by this action too.

maybe some of these........... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/7100957.stm - but then they don't count - they're not from the developed world - they have no money, hence no power - they don't matter!
