Shame it's not on until Sunday afternoon as we could have all watched together at the food co-op meet. Thanks for posting the link. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

I'm 20 mins and 48 seconds in and I love it!!!! I want to Blog it before I have to do other stuff, rather than waiting for the end first.
I'm going to have to do the rest in instalments but then that gives me time to absorb it all. I joined Hugh FW's Landshare that it talks about. I've spoken to someone nearby via Landshare and we may be meeting up. She now knows about Neeps too.

It's great isn't it? Don't leave off for too long with the instalments though as time is running out. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

Thanks for posting this! Just watched it with my OH, and have forwarded the link to my entire email address book ... not a lot of time left for folk to see it, but you never know!
Lots of high points, but in particular the "transition tavern" and "50 mile meal" awards both jumped out at me.
There's a proposal locally here for a community buy-out of the Midmar Inn ... I've no idea how it would work, but interesting to see that such a thing exists, and in Scotland too.
We'll definitely check out more on how they ran the local meal awards ... many a local restaurant here claims to supply local food, but when push comes to shove, most seem to be thoroughly tied into contracts with 'local' wholesalers who buy in from the cheapest and usual farthest away ... so the veggies are rarely locally grown OR in season! If anyone knows of restaurants who do buck this trend in the Aberdeenshire area, do let me know!! _________________ Be the change you want to see in the world |
