Wpw what rain !!!
I can't recall the last time I saw so much water fall so quickly lol
I was in the garden picking berries and thought I felt a spot of rain, within minutes it was as if someone was emptying buckets over me, it was torrential, I couldn't see through it to walk.
I then had to go to Maud and the whole drive was through a raging river of water. All the roads are underwater and it would have been quite exciting if I wasn't worried about the flooding. When I got home we seem to be dry, but the neighbours stables look as if they might be flooded again so I will have to go on there when it stops and see if I can help bail them out :-(
I guess I will have more split gooseberries !!! _________________ Sassinak

It rained & rained here this pm - I spent the morning walking the field margins pulling ragwort, at least that bit of the day stayed dry.
And, of course, it rained here buckets yesterday - St Swithin's Day. If I were superstitious I would wonder about the next 40 days & get out the waterproofs...
