Just picked up a copy of this at Borders whilst in Inverness. It's got some pretty good stuff in this month:
Free firewood
Chicken proofing your veg garden
Etc.
Just thought i'd pass it on. _________________ "God and our archers made them stumble" Agincourt, 25 October 1415 |

HORSES
What horses do in the winter - Nicola Markwell of Redwings gives some tips to cope with winter weather
MANY horses are kept outside all year round and need to be able to cope whatever the weather, says Redwings Horse Sanctuary. POULTRY
Getting started with incubation - Terry Beebe begins with the basics – incubating eggs naturally or artificially?

ENVIRONMENT
FWAG champions small sites - James Warne shows how smallholders – and their wildlife – can benefit
THE Farming Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) has seen some changes since its formation in 1969 but one thing that has not changed is its commitment to supporting farmers and delivering good advice. As a national charitable organisation it has adapted and developed along with the farming industry it serves. A farmer-led organisation, it has strong links with the working countryside and should be considered as a prime resource tool for landowners and landmanagers.

ORGANIC OPTION
Homoeopathy and a TV star - How Bessie the Guernsey took a starring role in a designer outfit, by her carer Virginia Deradour
I HAD seen the Homoeopathy at Welly Level course advertised and tried to fit it in with work for a couple of years. This spring I enrolled, and found it inspiring and rewarding.
