Oh blimey, lots of snow drifts and its snowing again (6.45am)..the white Landrover is covered in it so has disappeared!
Sheltered in the (unfinished) house overnight, it was quite hard to open the door of the caravan due to the depth of the snow. Normally the winds are SW or maybe W so the caravan door is sheltered but these were more northerly so its blown a lot more along the side.
Hope I can get out to rescue OH from the bus at Aboyne, and hope he can get to Aboyne for me to rescue him! _________________ Happiness is a Haflinger! |

At least 15 cm all over - more in drifts. Don't think I'm going anywhere today. Can't even tidy up the garden. Blast. _________________ Ina |

That's not much fun Ina - not with so much to do.
Quite a bit here too - David has had to drive to Alford first thing this morning after getting yet another flat tyre. Two this month. Grrrr like we can afford it. I've got two tyres that need replacing on my car and so that hasn't moved since taking Andy to Aberdeen - they keep going down too.
Supposed to go to the rugby this afternoon - I really don't fancy standing in the freezing cold with J in tow.
Angela - please let us know what the Aboyne roads are like if you get out. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

| Keeps kinda snowing here but nothing too OTT... plenty of it on the ground already, although there seem to be plenty tracks on the road outside so doesn't look to be too bad. I assume that the main roads will be cleared... better be... got the first xmas do of the year tonight. |

Hi WG,
The A93 was ok but a bit variable, worst between Banchory and Kinca, but all passable.
The Tarland-Aboyne road was not too bad. The road from Tarland to WB was .....interesting.......... but we made it! _________________ Happiness is a Haflinger! |
