Well they did warn us I suppose.....gales again! This time it has pulled a steel gate fixing right out of the wooden sleeper so OH will have a repair when he gets here.

They are supposed to die down (winds) after midday and then we have a
few days of calm hurrah!

At least the sun is out though, nice to see him for once!

Ergh - it's actually Sunday today! You a day behind or what???

Not quite as bad here - oh, sorry, I'm down south again at the moment... A bit windy. It was actually better up north, when I left this morning.

errmmmm yes I am a day behind, just shows you the gales have addled what few brain cells remained! So thats one less day to Christmas I suppose!

Oooh yes it was fairly gusty last night and until lunchtime today. Its been really warm though!

It's still windy here - was waiting for the calm at midday. Didn't stop us going along to the Deeside Activity Centre for a very ungreen visit to Santa - a sleigh dragged along by a quad bike (but it was good fun

well its now 5.20 on Monday and the wind has only just dropped

However OHs plane to Aberdeen wasnt delayed cos as usual he missed it! but hes on the sleeper train so will be here this morning.

110 mph winds? OMG ! I love Shetland but on this basis I will NOT be moving up to join you, am finding the gales here enough of a strain!

Not so much up early as no sleep yet due to the gales
