Lots of easy on the eye info and advice from Graham Burnetts site Spiralseed http://www.spiralseed.co.uk/ - plus 'free' stuff - love Grahams 'permaculture mandala'.

Thanks Andy....here's another

Permaculture Magazine - http://www.permaculture-magazine.co.uk/index.html Think we have a few Neeps who subscribe to this? Perhaps worth me asking if anyone has any well read copies they'd be happy to donate to the neeps library? Easier to read curled up with a magazine than a monitor.

There are heaps of permaculture videos on you tube. There is a link to a really good one at the bottom of the page on this link:

A wonderfully concise easy to read intro, with great pic's and diagrams. Highly recommended if you want to know what permaculture is, without reading a huge amount.

Not really a permaculture resource as such - more a great reading list of all those books you might want to get your hands on. Great for browsing with a 'cuppa' to see what you should be asking your library to stock.

http://www.green-shopping.co.uk/downloads/Green_Shopping_Cat.pdf

Asking the library fits perma ethos nicely...use what we've got...and it really works! I have the Transition Towns Handbook  - and have just requested Rachel Carsons, Silent Spring.

Cheers SH, agree, it's great. I was given the paper copy on the 'intro to permaculture course'.

Here's another great site. Although this one's very meaty...packed with enourmous amounts of info. Although not all permaculture, you'll find plenty. Here's what the creators of United Diversity http://uniteddiversity.com/ say about why they created it.

Quote:
The systems and institutions we rely on for survival are at risk of massive failure.

Peace, justice and sustainability demand completely new systems of economics and governance and if humanity is going to survive we must create them. Those who benefit most from the present system are not going to do this for us.

We must work together to create new models and systems that encourage a ‘tipping point’ in which cooperation and collaboration supercede competition.

The clock is ticking.

If you’re working on a project that seeks to create the systems needed for a just and sustainable world we’d love to hear from you.

Together we have everything.
