Hi,

Not sure whether these have been discussed before. (www.mooncup.co.uk) Whether anybody is a mooncup lover or hater. Or a mulling it over person. I'm evening 1, sharing thoughts with Maria. If anybody's interested, let me know. Could be a hot topic or a.... is the phrase damp squid??? Why do those phrases rear up at times and the more you think them, the odder they sond????

Had a mad thought of sharing thoughts on the Blog, rather than here? Don't want to make anyone uncomfortable.

Anyway, not at Wickerman, bad day in Aberdeen with youngest, so we're at home lying low. OH and eldest hopefully having fab time.

No reason not to discuss it here - we've done it before I think... somewhere.

I bought one but didn't get on with it very well... might give it another try though.

I've got a sample of some reusuable cloth pads from Moontimes that I keep meaning to bring out at the food co-op meets but always conveniently forget - don't worry, it's not been used LOL

Just for the record, mooncups are available via the food co-op too (now THAT sounds weird)

Didn't realize they were available, would have preferred to get it there than Boots. Moontimes sound fab!!! I've been looking and had (for me) rather courageously decided to make some, as many people seem to on forums etc Bought  a load of velcro yesterday and now squareing up to the thought of trying to figure out how to get my cherished but totally misunderstood sewing machine to work.

It's far too early in the morning and I'm just having my morning (very weak) cuppa..... but I  must admit I was somewhat confused as to how you were going to combine velcro and the Mooncup concept into one item! Where, um... does the velcro go??

So glad I'm expecting and don't have to worry about these things for a considerable length of time yet

I think the velcro is for homemade washable pads rather for use with the Mooncup.

If not, ouch!

I have to admit I get on excellently with my moon cup ( I have a reel of velcro too, but as above, for other projects).

It's kind of an expensive one to try and find you hate it, but it took me a few times to get it right and comfortable but there's no way I'd go to anything else now.

Thanks for letting me know about this FMN - until you mentioned it a couple of months ago I had no idea    Thanks also for letting me know how it's gone - I'll be parting with the cash asap - got to be sooo much better than disposing of 'stuff'!

Not one to put in Scotads

Good to hear others have had success too - makes me less worried about the initial cost.

Great to discuss this sort of thing - how else are you supposed to get feedback? Hardly one to canvass the high street with is it

We should have a squirm alert for the men though.....lest they accidentally stray into the mire of feminine doom
