Hi everyone,
I'm gonna be doing the Loch Ness Marathon on the 4th October 2009
I'm running with my mate Dave Smith
We'll be running for the MS Society Scotland as we both have a member of the family with this disabling illness
I've set up a justgiving page and it can be got to with the link below
I'll bump this up the site nearer the marathon date again
Anyone who wishes to donate will have the thanks of myself, Dave Smith and the sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis
I'll be passing a sponsor sheet to Shirley to catch some of you at the Neeps meets so if you wish, you can sponsor me then
If you wish to read about the MS Society and what they do you can follow the 2nd link
Donate Here
MS Society Scotland
Many Thanks
Dave C (purpleblade76) _________________ Give what you can please, I am.
After 26 miles I'm sure I'll be giving my lungs to medical research!!!

I wanted to bump this up the page and let you all know that even though the marathon is still 7 months away, between the 2 Dave's (or English Dave and Scottish Dave as they're known!) they've already raised over £1200 for MS society Scotland.
As we speak, they're organising a quiz night to be held in Alford in September.
Watch this space folks!!

Happy to put a sponsor in if the sheet gets to WG. Ready for the next co-op meet perhaps? _________________ Better late than never! |

It's a cause that's very close to our hearts too. They've done brilliantly with the fundraising so far.
A sponsor form will be making it's way to WG soon! _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |

Today Scottish Dave & I did the Balmoral 10k and what an experience, everybody was going on about 'the hill'.
As neither of us had done the Balmoral before we didn't know what they were talking about.
We thought it would be okay as we had done the Suie from Alford, over the top and turned at the Leslie turn and back home (13.3 miles).
How wrong we were.
Had a great day though and raised awareness for the MS groups.
What do you think of the haircut I got yesterday???

great work!! Sounds like a tricky run (don't think I'd have the legs or lungs for it nowadays )
Is there a sponsor form with WG now? Co-op's nearly here. _________________ Better late than never! |
