that sounds like the bizniz - as long as she doesn't spend a fortune on materials and tools - tends to make it of little relevance to me then - I've been making loadsa housey stuff from fabric samples acquired very cheaply ( £1 per sample book) from the creative waste exchange in Aberdeen - working with sumptuous fabrics I would never otherwise be able to afford - just lots of little bits of them - patchwork duvet covers, curtains and cushion covers - multicoloured hoosie - i love it! _________________ trust in the forces that made us and will recycle us again |

I quite enjoyed it. I didn't learn anything new particularly as we've been doing our own creative thing for years and I love a haggle or a freebie however it was great for those new to it and probably very empowering. It was enjoyable in the nice to look at for inspiration sense.

soz animalcrackers - I'm not online much at the mo as my sons PC is on the blink! but yes the creative waste exchange is great - check out their website - http://www.creativewasteexchange.org/
you need to become a member but it's real cheap bout £7 or so a year - we've had loads of really nice fabric and paint from them - also my sons had a lot of interesting bits and pieces for scenery making for warhammer. _________________ trust in the forces that made us and will recycle us again |
