She follwed her Highland classic A Croft in the Country with this celebration of gardening, one of mankinds' oldest pleasures. Month by month we are taken through a year in the life of Katherine's garden. |
Wonderful read. Liked being able to dip in and out of it depending on the time of month i wanted to read about. It's full of wilderness, both in the food, life, and weather around the garden and surrounding countryside. Especially liked that Katherine thought her 'wild bit' should be called permaculture.
Testimony to how much i like it, I've had it from the library since April!!!!!!!! It's time it went back...but it's going reluctantly. Perhaps this is one i should have added to my birthday wish list. _________________ Better late than never! |
