This looks a lovely wee online shop... certified organic and also keep packaging to a bare minimum... so thought i'd give it a mention
| Quote: | Made in the Highlands of Scotland. We use both traditional and contemporary handcrafted manufacturing processes with an emphasis on locally fresh, natural ingredients and herbal therapy. With many of our natural plant ingredients, precious oils and butters being grown organically, ethically or wild-harvested.
Certified Organic ingredients. There is currently no legislation in the beauty and cosmetics industry to regulate the use of the word organic. We source organic ingredients for our products that are certified by internationally-recognised agricultural bodies such as the Soil Association.
We also believe in honesty, that is why we publish a products full list of ingredients on our website, and we put on our labels exactly how organic a product is. You may wonder why some percentages are lower; this is because water is not organic and nor are some of the wild-harvested ingredients we use.
All of our products are vegetarian friendly. There are no genetically modified (GM) ingredients, and our products are 100% Cruelty-Free, and not tested on animals. The non-vegan ingredients we use are honey and beeswax.
SLS FREE: All of our products are free from artificial synthetic surfactants (foaming ingredients), such as SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) or SLES, and contain No Paraben preservatives.
We endeavour to keep our packaging simple, minimal and recyclable to avoid it clogging up dustbins and the environment. We endeavour to source only sustainable and recycled supplies. All of our bottles, jars and lids can be easily recycled after you have finished using the product. In order to keep our products safe in transit we use 100% biodegradable void fill made from annually renewable sources, such as corn husks. This material can be reused many times or composted. |
