| Hi there, am afraid to say that I only read about this group today in the Ballater Eagle and it sounded great. Thought it might be good to be in touch with other like-minded folk. We are just an average family trying to live a green life but with 2 small children it takes a while! We have a small veg patch in our garden and plan to have chickens next year, we also have an allotment which we have taken on this year. Rabbits aside it is going well! Am looking forward to learning lots through the site. |

Hi to you - love the name!
Welcome to the Neeps forum - and thanks to the Ballater Eagle for the mention!!
We've got various things going on, drumming meet/party on Friday here at Kildrummy (let me know if you are interested in coming along), Food Co-op, photo competitions, not to mention all the fab advice from your fellow Neepsters and lots of fun chat too.
If you are interested in any of the usergroups (check out the Site Info section) then just ask for further info, and if you've got any questions at all just ask

You can count me and my family in, on the 'greening' and trying. I'm in my second year of growing veggies...and still marvel at how a teeny seed can produce such tasty, and often huge, veggies for the table.

Hi there, it was lovely to come back from holiday and read so many friendly replies to my first post Only just managed to grab some time to reply as have been busy harvesting allotment stuff (re that - I have more questions later on another post!) and buying school stuff for my daughter who is off to school for the first time next week (BOO HOO - can't think about this!) and also have been getting my flickr page up and running. Where is this month going??!!
