Erm - it's raining here - in fact today we have received 25.5mm of rain (OH has one of those weather station things attached to the garage roof).

The poor chickens have been flooded out - it appears the shed is in the line of the new river that has developed from the water pouring off the moor, down our fields & out onto the road.

Hopefully it will dry out a bit soon (please)

Over driveway is now a brilliant reconstruction of a braid river with an aluvial fan at the end. I'm expecting horde of geologists to be arriving any moment to discuss channel flow and geobodies.

Bright sunshine this morning then heavy/steady rain all afternoon.An area of tarmac at the back of the house has washed away leaving the ground looking like a pebbly riverbed-complete with river!At the side of the house,where Andy's flaming volvo burnt the tar,the damaged tarmac has washed down and is all across the pavement and down the road.

It's dried up now but really cold.Summer!!!!!!!
