My 12 year old son has managed to forget the password that he used to get on to the computer and now we are left with a computer no one can use, does any one have any ideas?

what operating system is it?
if it's XP home edition, then you can just boot into safe mode and change the password from there.
anything else, I can get into, let me know where you are. |

Cool
Have needed to use those kinds of tools a couple of times when going on a site that someone else used to support and finding out no-one knew the admin passwords... oh and in one case, where someone had decided to remove a machine from the domain to do something with it, but hadn't checked that they had a local account on the machine first... Doh! |
