Drip drip drip drip... no it's not raining... well at least it's not raining outside but it IS raining inside. Every time we get a hard frost the metal roof freezes up and then drips down inside when it defrosts.. the sun is obviously on it now and I've had to chuck a towel over the sofa so that it catches the drips... the others just go on the floor - thankfully none drip down where the computer is.

Cold and frosty this morning - a touch warmer than yesterday at this time of the day though I think - 4 degrees on the thermometer.

Anyway - I've mentioned in another thread that it took me AGES to defrost the car this morning and that I need to buy a new scraper - any recommendations?

Its cold here today again ... car covered in frost this morning and had to defrost it before heading off to work...

An alternative for a window scraper .. how about a lid of an aerosol, ive caught robin using that a few times and it seems to make a good job of clearing the windscreen, plus gives you something to hold onto...the other things ive seen him using are cd and tape cases

Credit cards do the trick, too... And if you are lucky, the card breaks and prevents you from spending any more money!

I had to go into the village during my lunchbreak, and it was raining inside my car... It's also raining everywhere inside the sheep shed, and don't know why, but the drips ALWAYS come down the back of my neck!!! And they are freezing!

Walked Che along the railway line at Maud this morning and it was beautiful. A thick frost everywhere, horses in the fields in cosy blankets, the sun shining, the red berries and rosehips giving a splash of colour. Wish I'd taken my camera.

My fingers were numb by the time I got back to the car, though. Brrr.

Driving along the Countesswells road this morning just before 7am - the sky a most stunning red colour. Cold too yes. We're running the temp probe all this week outside and will download the data at the w/e. My sqwooshers froze as I sprayed them this morning!

Cold? It's not cold here at all!

Just heard from a friend who's moved to Canada that she had -29 in November... With windchill factor -39. It's positively baking hot here compared to that!
