Well after a couple of lovely sunny days....we're back to dull and very wet! It's poured with rain most of the morning.
I have made big soup to warm us up. Chicken noodle with sweetcorn. I went a little overboard with the noodles but it's all been scoffed up!
Temp 7.9 degrees at 2.30pm.

It's FREEZING here - literally. The frost has only melted where the sun shone directly on it. My car defrosted enough just in time for nursery (and the nativity!) and was freezing again when I went out at 2.30pm.
-6 here last night - I'm not sure what it is at the moment but it's definitely below freezing.

Well, yesterday I ran my Mum back to the airport to go home again, and when I used the skoosh to clean the windscreen it just froze before the wipers had a chance to wipe it off. It takes me about 40 minutes to drive to Dyce and it was still freezing on the windscreen as we were arriving.
COLD!
We have had frost sitting for a few days. I'm not chuffed because I have to go and have a meeting this afternoon and STILL don't have my car back on the road so I shall have to walk into the village (towing three kids) and get the flippin bus. Better put the thermals on methinks. |
