Dry, dull and windy. What is it with all this wind eh?
I am stuck inside wth Monty today who said he was feeling sick today. I think I may have been duped. He's missed the second showing of his Christmas concert. I think the late night did him in.
Temp at 1.30 is 12.7 degrees.

Similar weather here, interspersed with a few light showers. I'm glad, in a way, that it's not so cold - the house is freezing enough as it is.

Well, here it is cold, overcast, with showers.
I have a small boy at home today as well. He was in his school play last night (as was No2Child) and this morning he got up with a swollen eye, a rash down his face and earache.
I gave him Piriton for the reaction (to the face paints they used for the play or the spray hair colour) and he seems better. The earache will see the Dr tomorrow.

Cold and blustery here - the odd shower here and there. Goats decided to come out and decided that they wanted to eat the veggies... SO the red cabbage that had survived the caterpillars haven't survived the goats - c'est la vie. We obviously need to secure their fencing a bit better.
We are going to have a busy weekend planting fruit trees and fencing... if anyone wants to come over and help, do feel free.
I'll make a nice warming soup and rolls, and some mince pies and mulled wine (or non alcoholic version for drivers) - go on, you know you want to. It's better than going shopping that's for sure.

A lot better here today, hardly any wind and dry!
WildGarlic I didn't get blown away and we all survived! Hope you manage to get some help with the planting and fencing. My husband does that all day anyway so I don't think he would be persuaded to come and help! Good luck though .
