How can we really persuade the public to reduce their carbon use - and big businesses - they all have to sign up to the Carbon Reduction Commitment where they will have to buy carbon credits - all the money is redistributed at the end of the year with bonuses to the goodies and penalties to the baddies. There is a seminar comming up on it but I don't think it is local to us.
We can all do the usual - turn things off and tell people to do beter but how do you enforce it - it always worries me that we live in a capitalist democracy though I doubt I'd live under any other regime
