Had some home grow the last few days in a salad and other meals and wow! They're just so as mum said "carroty" it's true though, there is no other way to describe how lush, fresh and yummy they are.

Sorry got a bit carried away talking about carrots.

We made carrot juice once (exploring ways to use up a glut of carrots) and it came out the most alarming bright milky orange you've ever seen. It was so sickly it had to be mixed with other juices - but very healthful, I expect.
You and I will make some in the Autumn so you can try it if you like, it's about time the juicer got used again. My carrots are coming along nicely now.

carrots taste nice, but the ones from the super are tasteless, and it puts you off, makes you think what a bland veg, they ruin everything

you cant blame the carrots, its the way there bought up

Andy has grown some in a raised bed.We had some steamed last night.They were delicious-carroty seems the best way to describe them.The rest won't last long!!!
