This is a great wee book for dipping into. There are only two or three pages maximum per subject, and it covers from a window shelf right thru to ideas for a smallholding (or a bit more land than average, shall we say).
I is silly money from a normal shop - £15 or so most places I looked, even eBay, but I got my copy new from The Book People (hooray TBP!) for £4.99 which is as much as I would like to pay for a reference book that isn't heavy on information.
It covers things from a windowshelf herbery, to keeping hens (or cows!), to making jam.

A nice wee book, perhaps for someone you want to encourage to be more organic, or if you are starting out newly organic yourself and want some (fairly) easily achievable ideas. _________________ No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood.

That sounds like the book for me PD. The book people are at my OH's work just now, so I'll see if they have it. Thanks _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |

I have the book too and from the Book People. It's very informative and refreshing. I have similar ones that could be a bit annoying, (I sold the Dick... is it Bridgewater... one , the family in Cornwall who were on telly too.)
It makes a great dip into book, I have it on the shelf with others in the toilet! Inches from the back door to garen. |
