Damp and warm. It's so warm that last night I realised it was warmer outside than in my house, so I opened all the windows, and now the house has a reasonable temperature, too! Unfortunately with the high humidity everything inside is also damp... |

Yeah - glad that it's not raining as we're off to get a tree for nursery this morning. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

Much warmer today.
My house is roasting this morning, but as it's electric storage, i could turn it down today, then if it's freezing tomorrow, we'll freeze for another 2 days until it heats up again!! I could put this in the rant section really!! _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |

Don't I know the problem! Which is why I'm now restricting my heating to the kitchen - at least I'm not wasting quite so much electricity on heating something at times when I don't need it... |

Intermittently wet and windy here - mostly saves up the wet stuff for when I'm outside (like walking the dog this morning - moon and stars when we left, so no coat, then halfway through wind driven rain ). _________________ Tumuli Design

I turned off some heaters a while back, but the kids were really cold and i ended up wearing jumpers with cardies on top, so...on it went again!!! _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |

What - isn't that what winter is all about? I usually have two woolly jumpers on, and under that vest, t-shirt, roll-neck cotton top - and sometimes a cardi over all that, or my sheepskin waistcoat... Long johns are mandatory, as well as two pairs of woolly socks. Much cheaper and better for the environment than turning your heating on! |
