"The low pressure area is currently (as of midnight) situated over Southern Wales and is still pushing relentlessly North during the early hours.
The main band of rain is ahead of the system and will continue to spread into the Midlands and Northern England overnight and into the early hours.
During Wednesday, so the rain band will grind to a halt across Eastern Scotland and into North-west England bringing some substantial rainfall accumulations.
During Thursday, so the low pushes into the North Sea and introduces a strong Northerly wind to all areas. Friday will feel bitterly cold for all regions as cold Polar Maritime air spreads in from the North.
This will be cold enough for sleet and snow across Northern and Eastern parts of Scotland during Thursday and into the early parts of Friday."
Well its still raining here.. |

Looks like this is going to be a rather repetitive thread! _________________ Ina |

I've just been out trying to tie down my new flat pack shed (which is still flat) The wind is getting quite strong now and it has been heavy showers all morning - with no gap in between them lol _________________ Sassinak

Thanks for the pic CDD - the river is fairly high here today too and the wind is picking up, and still it rains.
Ahh well... at least a change is forecast. It is due to snow here this evening LOL. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

I never bothered taking any pics this morning, but the field outside the house is now officially a loch, as is most of the flat land outside Inverurie |
